Rachel has a passion for learning new things and getting other people excited about learning. A professor at Columbia University, Rachel has published on a variety of academic and non-academic subjects, and has worked in journalism, editing, and standardized test writing.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

Rachel earned her Bachelor’s degree in English from Princeton University, a Master’s degree from the University of Oxford, and a Ph.D. in English and Comparative Literature from Columbia University.

PERSONAL

Having lived in a medical household her whole life, Rachel is proud of being able to pass herself off as a specialist in several different medical fields. In what she has of spare time, Rachel enjoys playing piano, running, traveling, and singing opera. Rachel lives with her husband and daughters in New Jersey.
