PROFESSIONAL AND EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

Hannah specializes in writing about mental health, wellness, psychology, and non-western modalities for healing. She has experience in social work as a Child and Adolescent Skill-Builder, and has also dedicated herself to supporting marketing efforts for nonprofits. Hannah received two undergraduate degrees in Spanish World Language and International Studies from Portland State University. She is currently earning her master's degree in Couples and Family Therapy with a specialization in Dance and Movement Therapy at Antioch University.

PERSONAL BACKGROUND

Hannah’s love for mental health and psychology came from her own mental health journey. Diagnosed at 18 with anorexia/bulimia, she spent her youth focused on healing and self-growth. Hannah is a big believer in somatic healing practices and finds joy in helping others with their mental health journeys. When she isn't writing, she is dancing Kizomba, traveling, practicing yoga, and working in the garden.
