Cranial nerve I is the olfactory nerve set. These olfactory nerves are the first pair of the cranial nerves and they are located in the upper nasal cavity. They are associated with the sense of smell. They contain only sensory nerves. They are numbered I by the order from which they arise from the front of the brain.
