Thoracic Splanchnic Nerves
The thoracic splanchnic nerves are part of the autonomic nervous system.
They are located in the mid portion of the spinal chord (adjacent to or
within the thoracic vertebrae) and synapse with the collateral ganglia.
Thoracic splanchnic nerves enervate the organs in the pelvic region, and
as such, aid in managing waste elimination and sexual functions.
