Dorsal Carpal Arteries/Veins
The "dorsal carpal branch" of the radial and ulnar arteries supply blood
to the "dorsal digital branches," which then supply the sides of the
index, middle, ring, and little fingers. The dorsal digital vessels form a
network of blood vessels and nerves with the proper palmar digital
branches of the superficial palmar arch. The dorsal veins parallel the
arteries of the same name on their way back up to the radial and ulnar
veins. Dorsal veins and arteries are also found in the feet which are also
responsible for the supply to and the draining of blood supplied to
the top of the foot.
