Devon Price, PhD

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

Dr. Price writes informative pieces about health education and careers for Innerbody Research. Dr. Price is a social psychologist, writer, activist, and professor at Loyola University of Chicago's School of Continuing and Professional Studies. Since 2018, Devon has been the program director of the LUC Leadership Assessment Center. In the past, Dr. Price has also taught at North Park University and The Chicago School for Professional Psychology. Devon is also the author of the book, Laziness Does Not Exist, published by Simon & Schuster.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

Dr. Price earned a PhD in Social Psychology and a Master's degree in Applied Social Psychology from Loyola University Chicago. Devon also studied Open-Mindedness and Political Tolerance with support from the John Templeton Foundation.

PERSONAL

In addition to having a book published, Devon is also a writer of essays and short fiction whose work has appeared in many publications, such as Slate, The Rumpus, NPR, HuffPost, Whiskeypaper, Literary Orphans, Essay Fiesta, The Paper Machete, and the Journal of Social and Experimental Social Psychology. Dr. Price lives in Chicago, Illinois.
