Stria Medullaris Thalami
A raised ridge in the cerebellum is formed by the reflection of the
ependyma (membrane composed of cells which line the ventricles of the
brain) of the third ventricle. This ridge is called the "taenia thalami,"
which becomes slightly more emphasized by the underlying "stria medullaris
thalami." The taenia thalami and stria medullaris converge in the back,
near the stalk of the "pineal body."
