Left Upper Lobe
The left upper lobe has a "superior division", which consists of the
"apical-posterior" segment and the "anterior" segment, and an "inferior (lingular)
division", which contains the "superior" and "inferior" segments. The lobes of the
left lung are supplied by branches of arteries and veins which stem from the thoracic
branch, and these, in turn, stem from the descending aorta.
